ALETHEIA HOUSE IS A COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDING SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS, AND THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THEY LIVE, SINCE 1972. IT IS ONE OF THE LARGEST PROVIDERS OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT, SUBSTANCE ABUSE/HIV PREVENTION, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN ALABAMA.

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

ABCH FOUNDATION PROVIDES STEWARDSHIP OVER INVESTMENTS, DETERMINING DISTRIBUTIONS AND FUNDING FOR THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS.

THE MISSION OF THE ALTAMONT SCHOOL IS TO IMPROVE THE FABRIC OF SOCIETY BY GRADUATING COMPASSIONATE, WELL EDUCATED INDIVIDUALS CAPABLE OF INDEPENDENT THINKING AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS. TO THIS END, THE SCHOOL ATTRACTS, NURTURES AND CHALLENGES STUDENTS WHOSE COMMITMENT TO TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE AND HONOR WILL PREPARE THEM NOT ONLY FOR THE MOST RIGOROUS COLLEGE PROGRAMS, BUT ALSO FOR PRODUCTIVE LIVES.
