HYPERBARIC VERMONT IS A 501(C)(3)NONPROFIT WITH A MISSION TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE BENEFITS OF HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY AND TO MAKE THIS LIFE-CHANGING TREATMENT ACCESSIBLE.

TO PROMOTE PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE MEMPHREMAGOG WATERSHED, TO MONITOR AND PROTECT QUALITY AND WILDLIFE HABITAT, AND TO PRESERVE THE SCENIC, HISTORIC AND ECOLOGICAL INTEGRITY OF THE WATERSHED.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

WE BELIEVE THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY IN THE UNUSED SPACE IN SOLAR FIELDS. NON-NATIVE HONEY BEES ARE IMPORTANT POLLINATORS, BUT IT IS OUR NATIVE POLLINATORS- THOSE BUTTERFLIES, HUMMINGBIRDS, MOTHS, BEES AND OTHER INSECTS MOVING POLLEN FROM PLANT TO PLANT- THAT PROVIDE A VITAL AND SUSTAINABLE REPRODUCTIVE PATHWAY FOR MANY OF THE FRUITS, VEGETABLES, NUTS, AND PLANTS WE CONSUME.

THE FORMER PUTNEY CENTRAL SCHOOL FOREST IS A DEDICATED EDUCATIONAL AND ECOLOGICAL RESOURCE FOR THE CHILDREN ATTENDING THE PUTNEY CENTRAL SCHOOL AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. ITS UNDEVELOPED CHARACHTER, HISTORY AND DIVERSITY OF NATURAL PLANT COMMUNITIES AND ASSOCIATED WILDLIFE HABITATS MAKE THE FOREST AN IDEAL SITE FOR AN OUTDOOR CLASSROOM, AND A REAL-LIFE LABORATORY TO EXPLORE FOREST ECOLOGY, STEWARDSHIP, AND SUSTAINABILITY OF LIFE SYSTEMS. THIS CLOSE-TO-LAND LEARNING EXTENDS TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECOLOGICAL INTEGRITY OF THE FOREST WILL BE PROTECTED.
