THE ORGANIZATION UNITES ITS MEMBERS IN THE BONDS OF FRATERNITY, BENEVOLENCE, AND CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A YEAR-ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

MISSION:

THE TENNESSEE BUSINESS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE COMMON BUSINESS INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS, AND, AMONG OTHER THINGS, IT SHALL SUPPORT POLICIES THAT FOSTER ECONOMIC GROWTH AND THE GENERAL BUSINESS CLIMATE IN TENNESSEE. IT IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF BUSINESS LEADERS THAT REPRESENT A CROSS-SECTION OF BUSINESS INTERESTS ACROSS TENNESSEE. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SUPPORT POLICIES AND INITIATIVES THAT HELP MAKE TENNESSEE THE BEST STATE IN THE COUNTRY TO DO BUSINESS AND IMPROVE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR TENNESSEANS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to increase citizen participation in local policy issues and thereby improve the overall quality of life in a particular state or community.

MISSION:

THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN LIONS CHARITIES, INC IS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, INCLUDING MEETING THE BENEVOLENT NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS, WHO ARE DISADVANTAGED, AND MAKING CONTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501 (C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 OR THE CORRESPONDING PROVISION OF ANY FUTURE TAX CODE OR LAWS. IT ALSO ASSISTS IN THE MAINTENANCE OF A PARK BUILDING AND LAKE.

MISSION:

GENERATE NEW GROWTH IN AREAS SUCH AS COMMERCIAL, HOUSING, INDUSTRIAL, AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE COUNTY, AND TO FOCUS ON MAKING OBION COUNTY A GREAT PLACE TO WORK, DO BUSINESS, AND RAISE A FAMILY.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.
