Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

SOLAR SCHOOLS-DONATE SOLAR ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS TO SCHOOLS FOR USE AS EDUCATIONAL TOOLS. THE SOLAR ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS ARE INSTALLED IN HIGH PROFILE LOCATIONS AT EACH SCHOOL WITH HIGH VISIBILITY AND INSTALLED BY CERTIFIED SOLAR INSTALLERS AND CERTIFIED ELECTRICIANS. SOLAR DATA IS COLLECTED AT EACH SCHOOL FOR USE FOR ALL OF THE SCHOOLS AS TEACHING TOOLS. WE DONATE DATA COLLECTION SYSTEMS FOR USE IN CLASSROOMS AND PROVIDE HELP WITH MAINTAINING THE PV SYSTEMS AT EACH SCHOOL. WE PROVIDE TEACHER TRAINING TO SCHOOLS WITHOUT CHARGE OR COST TO DISTRICTS, SCHOOLS, OR TEACHERS. MOST OF OUR CURRENT WORK IS IN ILLINOIS BUT WE HAVE BEEN WORKING IN OHIO, KENTUCKY, WASHINGTON DC, CALIFORNIA, TEXAS, WASHINGTON (STATE), PENNSYLVANIA, INDIANA, IOWA, MICHIGAN, NEW MEXICO, LOUISIANA, MAINE AND FLORIDA.

THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF THE FOUNDATION AND THE NATURE OF THE ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE FOUNDATION IS TO IDENTIFY AND ENGAGE THE CONSTITUENCIES OF PRESERVATION PARKS OF DELAWARE COUNTY AND RAISE FUNDS TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY OF PRESERVATION PARKS OF DELAWARE COUNTY TO FULFILL ITS MISSION TO PROTECT AND CONSERVE THE NATURAL AND HISTORIC FEATURE OF DELAWARE COUNTY AND TO INSPIRE OUTDOOR EXPLORATION AND LEARNING.
