The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

IT ALSO INCLUDES EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS, AND STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN CULTURAL STUDIES, THE ARTS AND LITERATURE. THE ASSOCIATION, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE NURSERY SCHOOL, ORGANIZED A "GIVING TREE" WHEREBY THE CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL COLLECTED NEW HATS, GLOVES AND MITTENS TO GIVE TO CHILDREN IN NEED THIS PAST WINTER. THE CHILDREN OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE WERE ABLE TO HELP MANY BOYS AND GIRLS IN ESSEX COUNTY. FINALLY, THROUGH THE CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE UNITED WAY OF NORTHERN NEW JERSEY WE PROVIDE PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO SEVERAL FAMILIES IN NEED.
