MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the volunteer and other organizations that provide emergency rescue operations and/or lifesaving activities for people who are stranded, lost, accident victims, or exposed to other life-threatening dangers. Included may be organizations that participate in air rescue, mountain rescue, sea rescue, ski rescue, traffic accident rescue and urban search and rescue operations.

THE CRESTON FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION IS A 100% VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO REDUCING LOSS OF LIFE AND PROPERTY THROUGH FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE, PREVENTION, AND EDUCATION.

THE NATIONAL SMOKEJUMPER ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO PRESERVING THE HISTORY AND LORE OF SMOKE JUMPING, MAINTAINING AND RESTORING OUR NATIONS FOREST AND GRASSLAND RESOURCES, RESPONDING TO SPECIAL NEEDS OF SMOKEJUMPERS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND ADVOCATING FOR THE PROGRAMS EVOLUTION.

THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO OWN AND OPERATE ADEQUATE FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPRESSING UNCONTROLLED WILDLAND AND STRUCTURE FIRES AND PROVIDING PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE TO PROTECT THE LIVES AND PROPERTY IN THE TOWNS OF WORDEN, HUNTLEY, AND POMPEYS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS ESTABLISHED BY BOUNDARIES AND/OR CONTRACT IN YELLOWSTONE COUNTY, MONTANA; TO PURCHASE AND OWN REAL PROPERTY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY, AND TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN NECESSARY BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES FOR THE STORAGE AND HOUSING OF ALL SAID APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT.

WE SERVE HUNTING AND SHOOTING SPORTS EDUCATORS WORLDWIDE BY DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING STANDARDS AND RESOURCES BASED ON RESEARCH THAT PROMOTE SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, AND ETHICAL PRACTICES WHILE FOSTERING PARTNER COMMUNICATION.

TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION, AMBULANCE SERVICES, AND MUTUAL AID TO RURAL COMMUNITIES LOCATED IN NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA. THE VFD IS THE FIRST RESPONDER FOR THESE OPERATIONS, SERVING APPROXIMATELY 2,000 RESIDENTS IN 1,400 SQUARE MILE AREA.

THIS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FIRE SUPPRESSION TO THE TOWN OF EKALAKA, MONTANA AND SURROUNDING AREAS WITHIN CARTER COUNTY, FALLON COUNTY CUSTER COUNTY, AND POWDER RIVER COUNTY. ALSO ASSIST MONTANA DNRC WITH FIRE SUPPRESSION.

TO PROVIDE FULL TIME, YEAR-ROUND PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY SERVICES FOR ALL PERSONS AND ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED ON, WITHIN, AND, IN SOME CASES, EVEN BEYOND THE YELLOWSTONE MOUNTAIN CLUB COMMUNITY LOCATED NEAR BIG SKY, MONTANA.
