SECOND STORK PROVIDES ESSENTIAL BABY-CARE ITEMS LIKE DIAPERS, WET WIPES, NEWBORN CLOTHING, RECEIVING BLANKETS AND PORTABLE CRIBS (IN THE FORM OF A PLAYARD WITH A BASSINET ATTACHMENT) TO GIVE BABIES A SAFE AND HEALTHY START, RELYING ON HOSPITAL PROFESSIONALS TO USE THEIR EXPERT JUDGMENT AND EXPERIENCE TO EFFICIENTLY DISTRIBUTE THE ITEMS TO THE FAMILIES IN GREATEST NEED. SECOND STORK RELIES ON VOLUNTEER GROUPS TO PACK "DIAPER BAGS", ON COLLECTION DRIVES AND GIFTS OF NEWBORN CLOTHING AND RECEIVING BLANKETS, AND ON DONATIONS AND GRANTS FOR PURCHASING CRIBS AND COVERING SECOND STORK'S MINIMAL OPERATING EXPENSES.
