TO PROVIDE YOUTH IN THE EDEN PRAIRIE COMMUNITY THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCCER AND DEVELOP SOCCER SKILLS THROUGH YEAR-ROUND TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE PLAY.

TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE A YOUTH HOCKEY PROGRAM IN THE BENSON MINNESOTA AREA FOR YOUTH UNDER THE AGE OF 18. THE PROGRAM SERVED APPROXIMATELY 130 AREA BOYS AND GIRLS UNDER AGE 18 BY PROVIDING ICE TIME, COACHES, TOURNAMENTS, A SUMMER HOCKEY CAMP, EQUIPMENT, SCHEDULES AND TRANSPORTATION TO GAMES.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

FOUNDED IN 1981, MSA HAS THE PRIMARY FOCUS TO PROVIDE FUN, POSITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM FOR THE YOUTH WITHIN THE MAHTOMEDI SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE: TO MAKE SOCCER FUN AND INSTILL IN OUR YOUTH A LIFELONG PASSION FOR SPORTS. TO PROMOTE SOCCER AT ALL LEVELS OF PLAY, INCLUDING COMPETITIVE AND RECREATIONAL. TO PROVIDE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN ALL AREAS OF THE SPORT INCLUDING SKILL DEVELOPMENT, COACHING AND REFEREEING. TO ENCOURAGE FAIR PLAY, SPORTSMANSHIP AND DEVELOP PLAYERS' SELF-ESTEEM. TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AND PARENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPORT.

ENCOURAGE EACH MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE AND SUPPORT TOWN BUSINESSES, COMMITTEES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND THEIR RELATED ACTIVITIES. ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN AN OPEN PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BUSINESS, CIVIC, NON-PROFIT, RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND TOWN INTERESTS THROUGH REGULARLY SCHEDULED OPPORTUNITIES FOR OPEN DIALOGUE. PROMOTE ECONOMIC AND CIVIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH VARIOUS COMMITTEES AND BY MAINTAINING STRONG TIES WTH THE CITY GOVERNMENT.
