Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE MISSION OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK HOCKEY ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE LEVELS FOR ALL PLAYERS TO BE CHALLENGED, WHICH INCREASES PARTICIPATION AND IMPROVES SKILLS WHILE DEVELOPING RESPECT FOR OTHERS, TEAMWORK, AND COMMUNITY PRIDE FOR OUR ATHLETES AND SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE SERVE ON AVERAGE 300 YOUTH PLAYERS RANGING IN AGE FROM 4 TO 18 YEARS. SLPHA HAS TEAMS AT THE FOLLOWING LEVELS: TERMITE, MINI MITE, UPPER MITE, SQUIRTS, PEEWEE, BANTAMS AND JUNIOR GOLD. SLPHA ALSO HAS A CO-OP GIRLS PROGRAM WITH HOPKINS YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION, WHICH HAS THE FOLLOWING LEVELS: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U AND 15U. SLPHA FIELDS APPROXIMATELY TWENTY TEAMS EACH HOCKEY SEASON. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO HOSTS VARIOUS TOURNAMENTS, INCLUDING DISTRICT AND REGIONAL PLAYOFF TOURNAMENTS.
