THE ORGANIZATION'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDING CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE EDUCATORS OF MEMBER INSTITUTIONS WHILE MAINTAINING RELATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND THE PUBLIC.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.

[Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]
