The goal of this organization is to provide housing or shelter services where the major purpose is unclear enough that a more specific code cannot be accurately assigned.

PROVIDE SERVICES TO CONSTRUCTION AND HOME BUILDING COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS.

PROVIDE QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS WHO ARE 55 AND OLDER WITH AN ANNUAL INCOME THAT IS AT OR BELOW 50% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME. THE RENTS ARE FURTHER RESTRICTED TO NO MORE THAN 50% OF THE CURRENT RENT LIMIT WHICH IS PUBLISHED ANNUALLY.

GOOD NEWS HOMES PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR FAMILIES WHO CANNOT MAKE ENDS MEET. THEY ARE USUALLY FAMILIES, MOST OFTEN SINGLE WOMEN WITH THEIR CHILDREN, AND THEY ARE STAYING ANYWHERE THEY CAN. THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE NO HOME OF THEIR OWN MEANS THEY HAVE NO STABILITY OR FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR CHILDREN. WHEN GOOD NEWS IS ABLE TO HELP A FAMILY, THE RESULT IS LIFE-CHANGING.
