SAVE CRYSTAL RIVER ALSO PARTNERED AGAIN WITH THE CRYSTAL RIVER PRIMARY SCHOOL AND DUKE ENERGY FOR A YEAR-LONG PROJECT WHERE STUDENTS GREW EELGRASS IN EVERY CLASSROOM. THIS EELGRASS FARM WAS INCORPORATED INTO ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR CURRICULUM FROM SCIENCE TO ART CLASS. THIS PROJECT HAS A LASTING IMPACT IN CREATING LONG-TERM ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDS. IN THE SPIRIT OF CREATING ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDS FOR THE FUTURE AS WELL AS PROVIDING LONG TERM PROTECTION OF THE RESTORATION PROJECT, WE HAVE ALSO STARTED A RESPONSIBLE ANCHORING PROGRAM
