MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO RESTORE NATIVE COASTAL HABITATS AND TO EDUCATE OTHERS AS TO EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT METHODS OF HABITAT RESTORATION. IN JULY 2013, WE ASSUMED CONTROL OF THE KEYS ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION FUND (KERF) PREVIOUSLY SPONSORED BY AUDUBON SOCIETY. THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN RENAMED KEYS RESTORATION FUND (KRF) AND IS OVERSEEN BY THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS. THIS IS AN IN-LIEU FEE PROGRAM FUNDED BY FEES THAT PERMITTEES MUST PAY FOR INCURRED DAMAGES TO THE ENVIRONMENT FROM CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY. KRF USES THESE FUNDS FOR ADMINISTRATION, PROJECT INDENTIFICATION, PERMITTING, IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING OF LARGE SCALE MITIGATION PROJECTS TO OFFSET IMPACTS FROM CONSTRUCTION. ALL FEES COLLECTED AND MITIGATION PROJECTS ARE LOCATED WITHING THE SERVICE AREAS OF THE UPPER AND LOWER FLORIDA KEYS.

TO PROTECT THE NATURAL DIVERSITY AND BEAUTY OF PINE ISLAND. WE ACQUIRE, PRESERVE AND MANAGE ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE, HISTORICAL AN ARCHAEOLOGICALLY IMPORTANT SITES. WE FOSTER APPRECIATION FOR AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND OUR PAST.

THE FLORIDA KEYS LAND & SEA TRUST WAS ESTABLISHED TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE FLORIDA KEYS AND TO ENCOURAGE AND SPONSOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND EDUCATION

THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS BOAT TOURS IN SOUTHEAST ALASKA TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON THE IMPORTANCE TO CONSERVE OUR LAND AND MARINE RESOURCES.
