MISSION:

THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF MAYSHARIM INC. IS TO PERFORM AS A FULL-SCALE RELIGIOUS RABBINICAL COURT. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ADJUDICATION AND ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES ACCORDING TO RELIGIOUS JEWISH LAW, COMPOSITION OF BINDING CONTRACTS, AND PREPARATION AND SUPERVISION OF THE GET (JEWISH WRIT OF DIVORCE). THE JUDGES PRESIDING OVER THE COURT ARE TRAINED AND TESTED FOR A RABBINIC DEGREE. CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES ARE PROVIDED FOR JUDGES AND PRACTICING RABBIS. IN 2013, ORGANIZATION DECIDED TO EXPAND ACTIVITIES TO INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL LECTURES AND EVENTS, WRITTEN PUBLICATIONS AND AUDIO/VIDEO PRODUCTIONS FOR THE LAYMAN, PROVIDING STIPENDS TO JUDGES AND PRACTICING RABBIS AND STUDENTS WHO ARE STUDYING JEWISH LAW, SUPPORTING OTHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOLS, AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE INDIGENT.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO NOT-FOR-PROFIT INSTITUTIONS WHO PROVIDE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES; AND TO PROVIDE GRANTS FOR JEWISH RELIGIOUS SABBATH/HOLIDAYS AND RELIGIOUS LIFE-CYCLE EVENTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AS WELL AS INSTITUTIONS THAT ASSIST SUCH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, AND OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT INSTITUTIONS, WHO ARE SUFFERING OR FACING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, INSTABILITY AND/OR CRISES AND ARE IN NEED OF FOOD, CLOTHING AND FINANCIAL AID TO BE ABLE TO PRACTICE THEIR RELIGION WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY.

MISSION:

THE INTERNATIONAL SYNAGOGUE WAS ORGANIZED AND ESTABLISHED IN 1958 TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE TRAVELING COMMUNITY. THE SYNAGOGUE HAS BEEN REPRESENTING JUDAISM TO THE FLYING PUBLIC AT THE AIR GATEWAY TO THE US FOR 50 YEARS. THE PROJECT OF BUILDING A SYNAGOGUE AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WITH THE INTENT OF ALLOWING THE JEWISH COMMUNITY TO HAVE EQUAL RELIGIOUS REPRESENTATION AT THE AIRPORT PROCLAIMED THE RELIGIOUS LIBERTY GUARANTEED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND REPRESENTED THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM THAT PERSONS OF EVERY CREED CAN ENJOY.

THE TOURO SYNAGOGUE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT, NONSECTARIAN ORGANIZATION, DEDICATED TO MAINTAINING AND PRESERVING TOURO SYNAGOGUE, THE COLONIAL JEWISH CEMETERY, PATRIOTS PARK, AND TO PROMOTING AND TEACHING RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY, COLONIAL JEWISH HISTORY AND THE HISTORY OF TOURO SYNAGOGUE. TOURO SYNAGOGUE IS A NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE. THE TOURO SYNAGOGUE FOUNDATION OPERATES PUBLIC PROGRAMS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND IS A PROJECT OF SAVE AMERICA'S TREASURES.
