HAFFD'S "VOICES FROM HAITI" PROJECT AIMS TO BRING TO THE U.S. AND TO THE GLOBAL DIASPORA VOICES FROM EXPERTS IN HAITI WHO SHARE THEIR PERSPECTIVES ON THE CURRENT ON-THE-GROUND SITUATION AND MAKE ADVOCACY RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE HAITIAN DIASPORA. THE SPEAKERS REPRESENT MULTIPLE SECTORS AND INSTITUTIONS INCLUDING WOMEN'S ORGANIZATIONS, HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS, FAITH-BASED INSTITUTIONS, BUSINESS, YOUTH (RURAL AND URBAN) AND OTHER CIVIL SOCIETY ACTORS.

(DVI) TO REINFORCE DOWNTOWN AS THE CITYS UNIQUE EPICENTER FOR BUSINESS, HISTORY, CULTURE, EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT.
