NORTHWEST ARKANSAS EQUALITY'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMMING, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY TO SERVE, CONNECT, AND EMPOWER THE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER AND QUEER COMMUNITY.

The goal of this organization is to provide all forms of support except for financial assistance or fund raising for other organizations in the Civil Rights, Social Action, Advocacy major group area.

CITIZEN AWARENESS PROJECT EXISTS TO EDUCATE CITIZENS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS ON ISSUES OF PUBLIC POLICY AND TO GIVE THEM THE TOOLS NECESSARY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITY ON ISSUES AFFECTING THE PUBLIC AT LARGE. SPECIFICALLY, IT RESEARCHES AND DISTRIBUTES INFORMATION TO CITIZENS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS CONCERNING THE ECONOMY, JOBS, FOREIGN POLICY, HEALTH CARE POLICY, GOVERNMENT SPENDING, TAXES, GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS, AND WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE OF GOVERNMENT RESOURCES. IT ALSO ADVOCATES POLICY SOLUTIONS ON SUCH ISSUES WITH A FOCUS ON SUPPORTING LIMITED GOVERNMENT, CONSERVATIVE THOUGHT AND IDEOLOGY, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY, ECONOMIC GROWTH, AND FREEDOM.

The goal of this organization is to support the passage and enforcement of laws and other social measures that protect and promote the rights and interests of one or more specific ethnic groups or individuals who have a common national origin.
