PROVIDE AN ANNUAL PARK COUNTY AG FAIR EVENT TO BENEFIT THE AGRICULTURAL AND URBAN COMMUNITIES WITH A SPECFIC FOCUS ON 4-H AND FFA MEMBERS IN PARK COUNTY MONTANA.

PARK COUNTY AG FAIR ALUMNI ORGANIZES AND MANAGES THE PARK COUNTY AG FAIR EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ENTERTAINMENT, OPEN CLASS, SETUP & TAKE DOWN, MARKETING, COMMUNITY BBQ, AND SUPPORT FOR THE 4-H & FFA MEMBERS OF PARK COUNTY. THE PARK COUNTY AG FAIR IS A COLLABORATION OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITIES AND THE URBAN COMMUNITIES. EDUCATIONAL AND NETWORKING EVENTS ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. PREVIOUSLY WE WORKED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MSU EXTENSION SERVICES. 2023 WAS THE FIRST YEAR THAT WE COMPLETED OUR OWN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH PARK COUNTY. THE PARK COUNTY AG FAIR IS OPEN TO PARK COUNTY 4-H MEMBERS, GARDINER FFA CHAPTER MEMBERS, PARK COUNTY FFA MEMBERS, SHIELDS VALLEY FFA MEMBERS, AND RESIDENTS OF PARK COUNTY. THE FAIR HAS EVENTS AND CONTESTS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE 4-H & FFA MEMBERS AS WELL AS THE RESIDENTS OF PARK COUNTY (OPEN CLASS). THERE ARE NUMEROUS CONTESTS AND EVENTS THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE MAIN SOURCE OF DONATIONS & GRANTS IS PARK COUNTY. WE ALSO RAISE MONEY THROUGH SPONSORSHIPS AND RV RENTAL LOCATIONS. EXPENSES INCLUDE EVENTS, JUDGES, RIBBONS, TENT RENTALS, EVENT STAGE, COMMUNITY BBQ, OPEN CLASS & 4- H/FFA PREMIUMS, AND ENTERTAINMENT. OUR FUTURE GOAL IS TO RAISE 25,000 PER YEAR IN ADDITION TO THE FUNDS FROM PARK COUNTY. IN 2023 THERE WERE 97 OPEN CLASS EXHIBITORS, 503 OPEN CLASS ENTRIES, 450- 500 PEOPLE THAT ATTENDED THE COMMUNITY BBQ, 500 PEOPLE AT THE YOUTH RODEO, 150-200 PEOPLE AT THE CONCERT, AND 450 PEOPLE AT THE RANCH RODEO.
