Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
WKAC STARTED THE 2022 YEAR OFF WITH REGISTRATION FOR SPRING SEASON WITH A LITTLE OVER 300 PLAYERS REGISTERED. WE HELD PRACTICES AND GAMES AS BEST AS POSSIBLE WHILE FOLLOWING ALL CITY AND COUNTY GUIDELINES FOR USING THE PARKS. WE ALSO FOLLOWED CDC GUIDELINES TO ENSURE THAT ALL PLAYERS, COACHES, AND SPECTATORS COMPLIED TO KEEP OUR LEAGUE SAFE.AS A LEAGUE, WE KEPT UP WITH OUR MITIGATION PLAY BY PROVIDING EVERY TEAM WITH DISINFECTANT SOLUTION, SPRAY BOTTLES, AND THERMOMETERS TO KEEP THE VIRUS IN CHECK SO THAT WE COULD LET THE TEAMS PLAY. WKAC WAS FACED AGAIN WITH SOME PARENTS WANTING TO PLAY MORE AND LEAVING THE LEAGUE TO GO TO OTHER LEAGUES THAT DID NOT HAVE STRICT MITIGATION PLAN AND WERE PLAYING MORE GAMES THAN OUR LEAGUE AND OTHER PARENTS DECIDED THAT THEY WERE NOT READY TO LET THEIR CHILDREN COME BACK TO PLAY WHILE COVID019 WAS STILL PRESENT. WKAC STANDS BY OUR COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR YOUTH PLAYERS AND FAMILIES. WE STILL REQUIRE ALL PLAYERS TO SIGN THE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITIY WHEN REGISTERING THEIR CHILDREN TO PLAY IN WKAC.
