UWA; PROVIDE TECHNICAL, GEOGRAPHIC, AND RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING EXPERTISE ACROSS ALL PROJECT OBJECTIVES. FREELAND WILL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES, REDUCE CONSUMER DEMAND FOR WILDLIFE AND WILDLIFE PRODUCTS IN TARGET AREAS; OBJECTIVE 2: STRENGTHEN REGIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT CAPACITY AND COORDINATION AND WILL PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP FOR ACTIVITIES UNDER OBJECTIVE 3: INCREASE COMMITMENT TO ADDRESSING CWT.


ROUTES; THE USAID ROUTES(REDUCING OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNLAWFUL TRANSPORT OF ENDANGERED SPECIES) PARTNERSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2015 WITH A FIVE-YEAR MANDATE OF COLLABORATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST THE TRANSPORT SECTOR IN EFFORTS TO REDUCE WILDLIFE TRAFFICKING VIA LAND, SEA, AND AIR.


INL; THE PROJECT'S GOAL IS TO ENHANCE AFRICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT CAPACITY AND NETWORKING TO COMBAT WILDLIFE TRAFFICKING AS GUIDED BY BUILDING TECHNICAL AND LOGISTIC CAPACITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATORS IN KEY AFRICAN STATES TO IDENTIFY AND DISMANTLE WILDLIFE TRAFFICKING SYNDICATES; IMPROVING UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION OF AVAILABLE LEGAL MECHANISMS AMONG THE JUDICIARY TO TACKLE WILDLIFE AND ORGANIZED CRIME; ESTABLISHING AND STRENGTHENING COOPERATIVE LINKAGES AMONG LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATIONS PERSONNEL AND OTHER RELEVANT AGENCIES IN AFRICA; AND STRENGTHENING INVESTIGATION TIES BETWEEN AFRICAN AND ASIAN LAW ENFORCEMENT.
