FUDAN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITH THE MISSION AS PROMOTING HIGHER EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC RESEARCH OF FUDAN UNIVERSITY. FUDAN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION MAINLY RAISES FUNDS TO SET UP FELLOWSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS, FACILITATE STUDENT EXCHANGE AND ENHANCE CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURES, ETC..

SCHOLARSHIPS & STUDENT FINANCIAL AIDS: TO PROVIDE SUBSTANTIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS' DEVELOPMENT, AND TO SATISFY THE FINANCIAL NEEDS FROM LOW INCOME FAMILIES, FUNDS WERE RAISED TO SET UP KINDS OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AIDS, WHICH INCLUDES EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP, LIBERAL ARTS SCHOLARSHIP, RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP, EXCHANGE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP, ETC, AND DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FINANCIAL AIDS SO THAT EACH FINANCIALLY CHALLENGED STUDENTS CAN LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE DURING THEIR UNIVERSITY TIME. IN 2023, THERE WERE THIRTEEN (13) SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AIDS PROGRAMS GRANTED, HUNDEREDS OF STUDENTS BENEFITED FROM THOSE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AIDS.


FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: TO BUILD A WORLD-CLASS UNIVERSITY, FUDAN SETS UP LONG-TERM PLANS ON PROMOTING THE QUALITY OF FACULTY. FOUNDATION RAISED KINDS OF FUNDS FOR FACULTY TRAINING, CHAIR PROFESSOR RECRUITING, FELLOWSHIPS FOR OUTSTANDING FACULTIES AND SPONSORSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC SEMINARS AND LECTURES GIVEN FROM GLOBAL WELL-KNOWN SCHOLARS.IN 2023, THERE WERE THREE (3) FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS WERE GRANTED, WHICH WERE GU TINGLONG CHAIR PROFESSOR, SU RUKENG TEACHING AWARDS AND XIE XIDE CHAIR PROFESSOR.


SCHOOL AND DEPARTMENT FUNDS: SCHOOLS AND DEPARTMENTS SET UP KINDS OF FUNDS UNDER THE FOUNDATION. FUNDS WERE RAISED TO SUPPORT VARIOUS ACTIVITIES OF THE SCHOOL AND DEPARTMENTS, SUCH AS FELLOWSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS, ACADEMIC RESEARCH, BOOKS AND MANUSCRIPTS, BUILDING RENOVATION, ALUMNI EVENTS, ETC. IN 2023, THERE WERE TWO(2) SCHOOL AND DEPARTMENT FUNDS GRANTED, INCLUDING DEPARTMENT OF ENVIROMENTAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING AND UNIVERSITY LIBRARY.
