DIRECT GRANTS: IN 2021, SDIA DISTRIBUTED GRANTS: MANY SD PROJECTS ARE WORKING TO GIVE GIRLS AND BOYS THE EQUAL CHANCE AND OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR HUMAN POTENTIAL BY: SUPPORTING THE DAUGHTERS OF PEACE (COLOMBIA), HELPING BORNEO FOOTBALL TO DEVELOP ITS CAMPUS, WORKING TO SUPPORT VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE AND ABUSE, PROVIDING HEALTH AND NUTRITIONAL CARE, SUPPORTING FAMILIES TO BUILD HUMANITY THROUGH FOOD, PROVIDING ACCESS TO EDUCATION. IN 2021, SDIA CONTINUED TO SUPPORT SD CONGO IN ITS MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF A NETWORK OF HEALTH INSURANCE ASSOCIATIONS, HOSPITAL AND HEALTHCARE CENTRES SERVING FIVE COMMUNITIES IN KINSHASA AND CENTRAL KONGO PROVINCES.
PUBLICATIONS: IN 2021, THE SDIA OFFICE PUBLISHED SEVEN ENEWSLETTERS IN THREE LANGUAGES - FIVE OF WHICH HIGHLIGHTED THE PROJECTS SHOWCASED IN OUR NEW SD NETWORK PASSPORT SERIES - AS WELL AS FOUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS. ON-GOING COMMUNICATIONS INCLUDED UPDATING THE WEBSITE WWW.SUSILADHARMA.ORG AND MAINTAINING AND EXPANDING OUR ONLINE PRESENCE VIA FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM AND TWITTER. IN 2021, THE SDIA OFFICE LAUNCHED A NEW INITIATIVE CALLED SD NETWORK PASSPORT WHICH INVITED OUR SUPPORTERS TO MEET OUR CHANGEMAKERS ON A VIRTUAL GLOBAL JOURNEY. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE SERIES WAS HOSTED BY DIVERSE PROJECTS IN SIX DIFFERENT COUNTRIES WHO PRESENTED THEIR WORK AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED, VIA ZOOM, USING VIDEOS, INTERVIEWS AND EVEN SONGS.
