POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION: THE UNIVERSITY TAUGHT AROUND 13,245 STUDENTS AND CONVOCATED AROUND 3,629 STUDENTS WHO OBTAINED THEIR BACHELORS DEGREES, MASTERS DEGREES, PHD DEGREES, AS WELL AS CERTIFICATES AND DIPLOMAS.


MAINTAIN FACILITIES USED FOR PROGRAMS: THE UNIVERSITY OWNS, RUNS, AND MAINTAINS THE FACILITIES NECESSARY TO PROVIDE ITS TEACHING AND CONDUCT ITS RESEARCH (23 BUILDINGS). IT ALSO PURCHASES AND MAINTAINS EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT ITS PROGRAMS, SUCH AS COMPUTERS AND LAB EQUIPMENT.


SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH, GENERAL/OTHER: THE UNIVERSITY CARRIES OUT RESEARCH PROJECTS AND OTHER SPECIAL PROJECTS AS PART OF ITS MANDATE. IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF FACULTY MEMBERS TO CARRY OUT RESEARCH AND PUBLIC SERVICE (506 FULL-TIME FACULTY).
