OUR MISSION IS TO FURTHER THE AIMS AND PURPOSE OF ACMP ASSOCIATED CHAMBER OF MUSIC PLAYERS INC., PRIMARILY THROUGH GRANTS TO EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE CHAMBER MUSIC PLAYING AND ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES FOR AMATEURS.

CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOPS GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHERS THAT PRESENT WORKSHOPS FOR ADULT AMATEUR CHAMBER MUSIC PLAYERS WORLDWIDE. GRANTS ARE PROVIDED TO SUBSIDIZE COACHES' SALARIES, TO REDUCE REGISTRATION FEES FOR PARTICIPANTS, AND TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS. ACMP SEEKS TO FUND WORKSHOPS WHICH REKINDLE AN ENTHUSIASM AND ENERGY FOR CHAMBER MUSIC PLAYING; EXPAND A PLAYER'S KNOWLEDGE OF THE CHAMBER MUSIC REPERTOIRE; DEEPEN INSIGHTS AND SKILL IN THE PERFORMANCE OF CHAMBER MUSIC; HELP PLAYERS MAKE NEW CONNECTIONS WITH OTHER PLAYERS.
THE PLAY-IN GRANT SUPPORTS INFORMAL PUBLIC EVENTS WHERE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND PLAYING LEVELS GATHER TO PLAY CHAMBER MUSIC FOR PURE PLEASURE. PLAY-INS ARE NOT PERFORMANCES, BUT SOME INCLUDE NON-PLAYING LISTENERS. ALTHOUGH PROFESSIONAL CHAMBER MUSICIANS MAY BE INVOLVED AS ORGANIZERS OR PLAYING ALONG. THE PROGRAM HELPS MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE PLEASURE OF PLAYING CHAMBER MUSIC.
THE HOME COACHING PROGRAM ENCOURAGES MUSICIANS WHO MEET REGULARLY AS A GROUP TO ENGAGE A PROFESSIONAL COACH IN ORDER TO GAIN MUSICAL INSIGHT, DEVELOP EFFICIENT REHEARSAL SKILLS AND EXCHANGE MUSICAL IDEAS. ACMP PROVIDES UP TO 50% OF THE COACH'S FEES. ENSEMBLE MEMBERS MUST BE ACMP MEMBERS.
