Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

EDUCATING STUDENTS TOGETHER INC ENSURES THAT EVERY HIGH-ACHIEVING STUDENT OF COLOR IN THE COLLEGE ACCESS PROGRAM HAS ALL THE SUPPORT THEY NEED TO ENTER COLLEGE, SUCCEED WHILE THERE AND GRADUATE. THERE ARE MANY OBSTACLES TO HIGHER EDUCATION SUCCESS FOR OUR STUDENTS: SKYROCKETING TUITION, RACIAL SEGREGATION, INADEQUATE PUBLIC EDUCATION, SOCIOECONOMIC DISPARITIES, LACK OF COLLEGE COUNSELING, AND A GROWING STUDENT LOAN DEBT CRISIS. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THERE IS A DISPROPORTIONATELY LOW REPRESENTATION OF MEN OF COLOR ON EVERY COLLEGE CAMPUS. NATIONALLY, WHILE LESS THAN 1% OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVE A FULL-RIDE SCHOLARSHIP, WE HAVE HELPED 64% OF OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE ONE, ENSURING THAT THEY WILL GRADUATE DEBT-FREE AND BE ABLE TO BUILD GENERATIONAL WEALTH.
