THE MISSION OF PASF IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND TO SUPPORT MUSIC EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SANTA BARBARA COMMUNITY.

GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
PASF'S GOALS ARE TO ENCOURAGE, NURTURE, AND SUPPORT YOUNG MUSICIANS IN THE SANTA BARBARA COUNTY AREA. WE DO THIS THROUGH AN ANNUAL COMPETITION WHERE QUALIFYING PARTICIPANTS PERFORM TO WIN GRANT MONEY TO FURTHER THEIR MUSICAL CAREERS OR SUPPORT THEIR MUSICAL TRAINING. PASF HAS THREE AWARD DIVISIONS: ADULT INSTRUMENTAL, JUNIOR INSTRUMENTAL, AND VOCAL. PAST WINNERS HAVE INCLUDED WORLD-CLASS PERFORMING ARTISTS AS THEY WERE PREPARING FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE CAREERS. MANY OF OUR WINNERS FIND WORK IN ORCHESTRAS AROUND THE GLOBE, TEACH MUSIC IN HIGH SCHOOLS OR COLLEGES, OR THEY BECOME ARTS ADMINISTRATORS FOR CLASSICAL MUSIC ORGANIZATIONS.
