MENORAH TERRACE, A CALIFORNIA NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, WAS FORMED TO OPERATE A 39-UNIT RENTAL HOUSING PROJECT FOR VERY LOW INCOME ELDERLY LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. OPERATIONS BEGAN IN JANUARY 1983. MORTGAGE FINANCING WAS PROVIDED BY THE CALIFORNIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY. THE PROJECT IS REGULATED UNDER THE TERMS OF A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS CONTRACT WITH HUD, INCLUDING RENT CHANGES, OPERATING METHODS, AND OTHER MATTERS.
