THE FOUNDATION FUNDS THE PVPUSD FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS SUCH AS K-12TEACHERS, MUSIC TEACHERS, PE TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, LIBRARY AIDES, ANDSTEM INITIATIVES.
THE FOUNDATION RUNS THREE SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, THE PALOS VERDES PENINSULA SUMMER SCHOOL IS A HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR GRADES 9-12; THE SUMMER PENINSULA ENRICHMENT PROGRAM IS AN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR GRADES 6-8 AND THE SUMMER BREAK PROGRAM IS AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR GRADES K-5. THE NET PROCEEDS FROM THESE PROGRAMS HELP THE FOUNDATION TO MEET ITS ANNUAL PLEDGE TO THE PALOS VERDES PENINSULA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (PVPUSD).
