Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
PHI KAPPA PHI FORUM IS THE SOCIETY'S AWARD-WINNING PUBLICATION, REACHING MORE THAN 100,000 ACTIVE MEMBERS, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, LIBRARIES, EXECUTIVES, AND OTHERS. MEMBERS ALSO RECEIVE A MONTHLY ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION, PHI KAPPA PHI FOCUS, WHICH KEEPS THEM INFORMED OF PHI KAPPA PHI ACTIVITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES. THE ANNUAL REPORT GIVES AN OVERVIEW OF THE SOCIETY'S ACTIVITIES IN THE PAST YEAR, INCLUDING A FINANCIAL SUMMARY. A MERCHANDISE FLYER IS INCLUDED IN NEWMEMBER PACKETS AND RENEWAL STATEMENTS TO ENHANCE BRAND AWARENESS.
PHI KAPPA PHI'S 324 ACTIVE CHAPTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SPONSOR CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS THAT RECOGNIZE AND PROMOTE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY OF SCHOLARS IN SERVICE TO OTHERS. GROWING YOUR CHAPTER IS AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP THAT PROVIDES CHAPTER OFFICERS WITH TIPS AND RESOURCES FOR MANAGING AND ENHANCING ACTIVE CHAPTERS. OTHERCHAPTER OFFICER TRAINING SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED BY THE STAFF TO STRENGHTEN CHAPTERS AND PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT IS AN EVENT THAT THE PHI KAPPA PHI NATIONAL ORGANIZATION HOLDS EVERY OTHER YEAR. IT IS A TWO-DAY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN WHICH STUDENT VICE PRESIDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY WORK WITH LEADERSHIP FACILITATORS, THE CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT STAFF, AND EACH OTHER TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES AND OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR CHAPTERS.
EACH NEW MEMBER (22190) RECEIVES AN EMBLEM AND A CERTIFICATE TO DISTINGUISH INDIVIDUALS WITH OUTSTANDING SCHOLARSHIP. BROCHURES AND RELATED MATERIALS ARE SENT TO CHAPTERS AND MEMBERS TO KEEP THEM INFORMED ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION. PHIKAPPAPHI.ORG KEEPS MEMBERS INFORMEDOF BENEFITS, INCLUDING AWARD OPPORTUNITIES AND DISCOUNTS AND SERVICES FROM CORPORATE PARTNERS. THE SOCIETY MANAGES A NUMBER OF SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS TO ENGAGE MEMBERS AND PROMOTE NETWORKING. A PRIVATE ONLINE COMMUNITY AND CORRESPONDING APP HELP MEMBERS AND OFFICERS SHARE IDEAS, DISCUSS CHALLENGES, POST QUESTIONS AND CONNECT WITH ONE ANOTHER BASEDON SPECIFIC ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS.
