PKP RECOGNIZES AND PROMOTES ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN ALL FIELDS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND ENGAGES THE COMMUNITY OF SCHOLARS IN SERVICES TO OTHERS. THE HONOR SOCIETY OF PHI KAPPA PHI (PKP) SUPPORTS OVER 300 CHAPTERS AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, ITS TERRITORIES IN GUAM AND PUERTO RICO, AND IN THE PHILIPPINES. COLLECTIVELY, PKP AND ITS CHAPTERS PROMOTE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND PROVIDE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS TO ITS NEARLY 100,000 MEMBERS.SINCE 1932 PKP HAS SUPPORTED THE EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS OF ITS MEMBERS THROUGH ROBUST AND COMPETITIVE AWARD AND GRANT PROGRAMS. THE SOCIETY AWARDS OVER $1 MILLION EACH YEAR TO OUTSTANDING STUDENTS, MEMBERS, CHAPTERS, AND ORGANIZATIONS BY WAY OF ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIPS, FACULTY SABBATICALS, AWARDS, AND GRANTS.
