AS A MEMBER OWNED COOPERATIVE, CALIFORNIA BEAR CREDIT UNION PROVIDED OVERDRAFT PROTECTION SERVICES TO ITS MEMBERS AT AN AVERAGE COST REDUCTION OF $7.00 PER ITEM COMPARED TO BANKS.
AS A MEMBER OWNED COOPERATIVE, CALIFORNIA BEAR CREDIT UNION WORKED DILIGENTLY IN HELPING ITS MEMBER AND BUSINESS OWNERS TO KEEP THEIR HOMES AND BUSINESSES BY AGREEING TO LOAN MODIFICATIONS THAT ALLOWED MEMBERS TO RETAIN THEIR HOMES AND BUSINESS OWNERS THEIR BUSINESSES.
CALIFORNIA BEAR CREDIT UNION PROVIDES ATM SERVICES TO ITS MEMBERS FREE OF CHARGE FOR USE OF THE COOP ATM NETWORK, AND IT PROVIDES ATM ACCESSIBILITY FOR NON-MEMBERS AT A MARGINAL USAGE FEE THAT IS ON AVERAGE 50% LOWER OF THOSE FEES IMPOSED BY BANKS FOR ATM USE OF THEIR ATM BY NON-MEMBERS.
