THE BAY VIEW BOAT CLUB IS A SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL CLUB WITH ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON BOATS, SAILING, AND WATER.THIS PAST YEAR THE CLUB SERVED OVER 271 MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.IN ADDITION TO REGULAR SEASONAL RACES, THE CLUB SPONSORED ITS ANNUAL PLASTIC CLASSIC AS WELL AS WATER SAFETY WORKSHOPS. THE CLUB HAS A WHARF RATS PROGRAM WHICH SERVES CHILDREN OF MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS UNDER AGE 18. THEY ARE TAUGHT BASIC BOATING, BOATING SAFETY AND FISHING. THE CLUB HOSTS TWO BLOOD DRIVES A YEAR AS WELL AS SEVERAL FUNDRAISERS FOR MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS.
