IN VACAVILLE, CALIFORNIA THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 165 PRIMARY MISSION IS OF HELPING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHILE CONTINUALLY SPREADING THE WORD OF BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED THEIR COUNTRY.DURING THE FISCAL YEAR THE POST PREPARED OVER 900 MEALS TO SERVE FAMILIES ON THANKSGIVING. THE POST CONITINUALLY SUPPORTS THE FISHER HOUSE BY PROVIDING AND DELIVERING MEALS CONSISTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE POST SUPPORTS YOUTH PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING THE LOCAL BOY SCOUT TROOPS AS WELL AS THE LOCAL AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL LEAGUE.
