THE MISSION OF JPEF IS TO DEVELOP AND DISTRIBUTE EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ABOUT THE JEWISH PARTISANS AND THEIR LIFE LESSONS, BRINGING THE CELEBRATION OF HEROIC RESISTANCE AGAINST TYRANNY INTO EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS.

HELD A SUCCESSFUL FIRST-EVER VIRTUAL GALA PERPETUATING THE LEGACY, WITH 625 PEOPLE ATTENDING, INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS. DEMONSTRATED THE IMPACT THAT LEARNING ABOUT THE JEWISH PARTISANS HAS ON EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO SPEAK OUT AND STAND UP AGAINST ANTISEMITISM AND OPPRESSION. SHARED PARTISAN STORIES THROUGH PARTISAN HOSTS. HONORED THOSE WHO HAVE MADE AN IMPACT. THE GALA REMAINS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE EVENT MICROSITE AND YOUTUBE AS AN ONGOING PROGRAM PIECE.
OUTREACH (TEACHER TRAINING AND COLLABORATION): JPEF CONDUCTED 12 ONLINE TEACHER TRAINING, REACHING MORE THAN 286 EDUCATORS, 5 VIRTUAL CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS TO STUDENTS, AND 2 COLLEGE LECTURES. BY EXTENSION, JPEF WILL REACH CLOSE TO 64,590 STUDENTS DURING THE NEXT THREE YEARS. JPEF CONTINUED ENGAGING IN LONG-TERM COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER HOLOCAUST ORGANIZATIONS AND ENTERED INTO MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIPS WITH MANY NEW ENTITIES. JPEF CONTINUED WORKING CLOSELY WITH FACING HISTORY AND OURSELVES, AND THE UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM AND ALSO JOINED WITH TOLI THE OLGA LENGYEL INSTITUTE, STAN GREENSPOON CENTER FOR PEACE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE AT QUEENS UNIVERSITY, THE MIDWEST HOLOCAUST CENTER AND THE KANSAS CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY AND MORE, TO CONDUCT EDUCATOR TRAINING WITH THEIR STAFF AND JOINT WEB TRAININGS WITH CONSTITUENTS. JPEF ENTERED INTO COLLABORATIONS WITH 5 NEW PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS. PICTURES OF RESISTANCE, JPEFS TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT WAS IN RESIDENCE AT THE KANSAS CITY LIBRARY IN MARCH AND APRIL 2022. THE ORGANIZATION BROADCASTED A YOM HASHOAH VHAGEVURAH COMMEMORATION REACHING AN AUDIENCE OF MORE THAN 1,100 PEOPLE IN REAL-TIME WITH MORE THAN 1,900 SUBSEQUENT VIEWS OF THE RECORDED CEREMONY.
