THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE GOALS OF THE SHINNYO-EN ORDER, BY PROMOTING THE TENETS OF HARMONY, COMPASSION AND ALTRUISM; THOSE "UNIVERSAL VALUES" ESPOUSED BY THE FOUNDER OF THE ORDER. THE FOUNDATION'S GRANT PROGRAM SUPPORTS COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS THAT PROMOTE AND ENGAGE YOUTH IN MEANINGFUL ACTS OF SERVICE WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF PROMOTING GLOBAL PEACE THROUGH SERVICE. DURING THE 2021 TAX YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION MADE 22 GRANTS TOTALING $408,419.
