NINE SHIFT CHAPLAINS AND TEN ON CALL CHAPLAINS WERE ON CALL 24HRS PER DAY EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR TO ASSIST VICTIMS, FAMILIES OF VICTIMS, EMTS, AND THE MEDICAL EXAMINER AT OVER 260 CALLS INVOLVING TRAUMATIC INCIDENTS AND DEATH NOTIFICATIONS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. THEY ALSO CONNECTED PEOPLE TO LONG TERM CARE SERVICES AND WERE AVAILABLE FOR EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL CARE FOR EMERGENCY RESPONDERS.
