COSA PROMOTES AND PRODUCES 12 CENTRAL OREGON SYMPHONY CONCERTS WITH NO ADMISSION CHARGES. ATTENDANCE THIS YEAR WAS APPROXIMATELY 8,500. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, 16 FREE MUSIC IN PUBLIC PLACES. CONCERTS ARE PRESENTED FEATURING SMALL GROUPS OF SYMPHONY MUSICIANS IN VARIOUS LOCALES THROUGHOUT CENTRAL OREGON


COSA REGULARLY PROVIDES EDUCATION OUTREACH THROUGH: (1) FREE CHILDREN'S CONCERTS WITH AN EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT (ATTENDANCE 300 IN BEND, 350, (2) CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AT 4 LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS BY SYMPHONY MUSICIANS, (3) YOUNG ARTISTS COMPETITION FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, PLUS (4) EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR SYMPHONY MUSICIANS.
