Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN THE BEGINNING OF FY 2021-2022 WE REALIZED THAT THE ORGANIZATION WOULD NOT BE FINANCIALLY SUSTAINABLE FOR THE LONG TERM. DUE IN PART TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, WE WERE UNABLE TO SECURE THE LEVEL OF FOUNDATION FUNDING THAT SUSTAINED US HISTORICALLY, THUS WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE OPERATING AT THE SAME CAPACITY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. THE BOARD ELECTED TO CLOSE THE ORGANIZATION. WE CONTINUED RUNNING SCHEDULED PROGRAMS AND COMPLETING COURSES THAT WERE ACTIVE THROUGH FALL 2021, AND THEN FOCUSED OUR WORK ON ENSURING THAT OUR PROGRAMS, COURSES AND EDUCATORS FOUND WAYS TO CONTINUE EITHER INDEPENDENTLY OR THROUGH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. WE FACILITATED SEVERAL SMALL-SCALE PROGRAM ACQUISITIONS. BY THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION CEASED USUAL OPERATIONS AND BEGAN THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS TO WIND-UP AND DISSOLVE.
DURING THIS PERIOD, THE ORGANIZATION DID NOT RUN ANY PROGRAMS AND WAS IN THE PROCESS OF WINDING DOWN.
