THE US-CHINA FOUNDATION FOR INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES SPONSORS ABOUT 200 PROFESSIONALS TO THE UNITED STATES FOR TRAINING WHILE SENDING MORE THAN 50 AMERICAN VOLUNTEER EXPERTS TO CHINA PER YEAR FOR HUMANITARIAN ASSIGNMENTS. THE VOLUNTEER EXPERTS INCLUDE MEDICAL DOCTORS, BANKERS, STOCK BROKERS, AUDITORS, TEACHERS, ENTREPRENEURS AND AGRICULTURAL EXPERTS, TO MENTION ONLY A FEW FIELDS OF INTEREST. THESE DEDICATED MEN AND WOMEN GO TO CHINA AS AMBASSADORS OF GOODWILL. THE TRAINEES SPONSORED BY THE FOUNDATION TO THE US ARE COMPRISED OF MOSTLY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, ENTREPRENEURS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS.
