CHILDREN'S CLASSIC INC IS "A PLACE TO LEARN, GROW, AND PLAY, WHILE PARENTS ARE AWAY." WE FEATURE THE KINDS OF ENRICHING ACTIVITIES THAT HELP CHILDREN LEARN AND EXPLORE THEIR WORLD IN A SAFE, NURTURING PLACE.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES QUALITY PRESCHOOL AND CHILDCARE SERVICES; INCLUDING FULL-DAY KINDERGARTEN. INFANTS THROUGH GRADE SCHOOL AGE ARE SERVED. LEARNING AND ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ART; MUSIC AND MOVEMENT; MATH; SIMPLE SCIENCE; AND SMALL AND LARGE MOTOR DEVELOPMENT. THE FACILITY SERVES BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND A SNACK EACH DAY. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. LICENSING IS THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF WORKFORCE SERVICES, OFFICE OF CHILDCARE. AS OF JUNE 30, 2020 THE ORGANIZATION SERVED 184 STATE-FUNDED CHILDREN, WITH AN AVERAGE TOTAL ENROLLMENT OF 391 CHILDREN. FOOD SUBSIDIES ARE RECEIVED FROM THE USDA FOOD PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES AN AVERAGE OF 184 FREE MEALS AND 49 REDUCED PRICE MEALS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AND 318 PAID MEALS EACH DAY. THEY CURRENTLY OFFER SUMMER LUNCH THROUGH THE CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM, THE AT-RISK AFTER SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAM, AND THE CACFP CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM. THROUGH THE SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF FREE MEALS SERVED IS 154 PER MONTH AT 2 MEALS AND 1 SNACK PER DAY, THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF REDUCED COST MEALS SERVED IS 3 PER DAY AT 2 MEALS AND 1 SNACK PER DAY.
