THE CHILD OUTPATIENT SERVICE PROVIDES OUTPATIENT TREATMENT TO CHILDREN BETWEEN 3 AND 18 YEARS OF AGE WHO SUFFER EMOTIONAL DISORDERS AND WHO MEET SACRAMENTO COUNTY'S MENTAL HEALTH TARGET POPULATIONS OPTIMAL CRITERIA FOR CHILDREN. THE GOALS ARE TO RESTORE INDIVIDUALS TO THEIR MAXIMUM LEVEL OF FUNCTIONING, STABILIZE THEIR EMOTIONAL DYSFUNCTION AND KEEP THEM FROM ESCALATING TO HIGHER LEVELS OF CARE.
