TO PROVIDE A GATHERING PLACE AND SUPPORT FOR LOCAL RETIRED AND ACTIVE SERVICE MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES. BEVERAGES AND SNACKS ARE PROVIDED FOR PURCHASE BY MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS. ADDITIONALLY FACILITIES ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR EVENTS AND MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR VETERANS.
TO PROMOTE CITIZENSHIP BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO BOYS' STATE.
THE ED STEWART AMERICAN LEGION POST PROVIDES SUPPORT TO RETIRED MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT.
THE POST ASSISTS ITS MEMBERS IN VARIOUS NEEDS.
