GRANTS AND ACADEMIC PROGRAM SUPPORT - THE FOUNDATION'S SUPPORT OF THE COLLEGE, INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, RECEIVING, INVESTING AND ADMINISTERING THE FUNDS OF, OR FUNDS HELD FOR THE BENEFIT OF, THE COLLEGE. THE FOUNDATION UNDERTAKES SPECIAL PROJECTS TO SUPPORT INNOVATION IN AND CREATION OF COLLEGE PROGRAMS AND CAPITAL PROJECTS. THIS INCLUDES A FUNDRAISING PARTNERSHIP WITH GRANTORS AND PRIVATE DONORS TO FURNISH NEW SCIENCE LABS AND THE CULINARY SCHOOL WITH EQUIPMENT.
SCHOLARSHIPS - THE FOUNDATION AWARDED $235,071 IN SCHOLARSHIPS DURING 2021-22, ASSISTING 126 STUDENTS WITH TUITION, FEES, BOOKS, LIVING EXPENSES AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL EXPENSES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDED GED/TRANSITIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO 57 STUDENTS PREPARING TO ENTER COLLEGE AND PURSUE CAREER TRAINING. THE FOUNDATION AWARDED 29 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS EXPERIENCING TEMPORARY FINANCIAL EMERGENCIES TO ENSURE THEY WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THEIR TERMS OF STUDY.
