THE ORGANIZATION INCURRED PROGRAM EXPENSES IN THE FOLLOWING MAJOR CATEGORIES: DUII OVERTIME ENFORCEMENT - THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATES DUII ENFORCEMENT DURING HIGH VISIBILITY ENFORCEMENT EVENTS WITH LOCAL JURISDICTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ALL OVERTIME ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES ARE GEARED TO CONTINUE A REDUCTION IN IMPAIRED DRIVERS ON THE ROAD AND TO REDUCE IMPAIRED DRIVER CRASHES THAT RESULT IN INJURIES OR FATALITIES. DISTRACTED DRIVING - THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATES DISTRACTED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND ESPECIALLY DURING THE MONTH OF APRIL IN COORDINATION WITH THE NATIONAL DISTRACTED DRIVING AWARENESS MONTH. ALL OVERTIME ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES ARE GEARED TO COMBAT DISTRACTED DRIVING STATEWIDE TO REDUCE CRASHES, FATALITIES AND INJURIES. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATES PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS WITH LOCAL JURISDICTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. SAFE COMMUNITY SERVICES - THE ORGANIZATION ACTS AS A CONDUIT TO CONNECT COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND BUSINESSES TO TRANSPORTATION SAFETY PROFESSIONALS AND ADVOCATES.
