THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE NEEDED FUNDS TO SAVE, ENHANCE AND PERPETUATE THOSE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT ARE THREATENED DUE TO BUDGET CUTS AND TAX-LIMITING MEASURES AT THE SCHOOLS WITHIN THE SISTERS SCHOOL DISTRICT #6, DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON.

THE FOUNDATION SPONSORED AND FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED VARIOUS CLASSROOM AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES BY AWARDING GRANTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING THE REPLACEMENT OF AGING EQUIPMENT AND THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS FOR THE FINE ARTS, MUSIC, ATHLETIC, MATH, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE SCHOOLS WITHIN THE SISTERS SCHOOL DISTRICT.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS BASED ON ESTABLISHED CRITERIA THAT TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION AN APPLICANT'S SCHOLASTIC ABILITIES, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND FINANCIAL NEED.
