SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS - PROVIDED IN-FORMAL STEM EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN IN AND AROUND THE PORTLAND METRO AREA. THESE PROGRAMS ARE GROUNDED IN NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE STANDARDS AND INCLUDES GUIDED TOURS, OFF SITE PROGRAMS, AND ONLINE ACTIVITIES. COMMUNITY WIDE PROGRAMS - PRODUCED AND PARTICIPATED IN FAMILY FRIENDLY FESTIVALS AND EVENTS INCLUDING: MYSTERY MINERAL DAY AND COMMUNITY-WIDE STEM EVENTS. THESE EVENTS ARE EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND GEARED TOWARDS AN ALL-AGES AUDIENCE.
