ITS THE ORGANIZATIONAL VISION THAT MATERNAL AND INFANT HEALTH WILL BE A PRIORITY FOCUS FOR ORGANIZATIONS IN SOUTHERN OREGON AND THAT HCCSO WILL CHAMPION THIS THROUGH EDUCATION, SECURING RESOURCES, AND FACILITATING COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS.

THE ELIMINATING DISPARITIES IN PERINATAL HEALTH GRANT SERVED OVER 500 FAMILIES, INCLUDING PRECONCEPTION, PREGNANT, POSTPARTUM, AND INTERCONCEPTIONAL WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 2. THE GRANT PROVIDED TRAINING TO OVER 25 FIELD STAFF IN JOSEPHINE AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES. THIS GRANT SUPPORTED COUNTY-SPECIFIC AND REGIONAL PERINATAL TASK FORCE ACTIVITIES.
THE FORD FAMILY FOUNDATION GRANT SUPPORTS PERINATAL TASK FORCE WORK IN DOUGLAS COUNTY WITH A MISSION TO IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE, BEHAVIORS, AND SYSTEMS OF CARE FOR WOMEN, TEENS, CHILDREN, AND FAMILIES THROUGH CROSS-SECTOR PERINATAL TASK FORCES.
