MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND LECTURES TO ADDRESS COMMUNICATION SKILLS, MEDICAL DECISION-MAKING, PHYSICIAN WELL-BEING, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALISM, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH POLICY AND FINANCING AND EMERGING PRIORITIES FOR MEDICAL EDUCATION AND THE PREPARATION OF PHYSICIANS. PHYSICIAN WORK FORCE PRIORITIES ARE ALSO ADDRESSED BY A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM LINKED TO THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE REGION (APPROXIMATELY 1,000 PARTICIPANTS).
