Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB NURTURES YOUNG PEOPLE'S SELF-ESTEEM BY INSTILLING IN THEM A SENSE OF BELONGING, USEFULNESS, INFLUENCE AND COMPETENCE. THE CLUB SERVES OVER 307 YOUTH WITH A FOCUS ON A 360 DEGREE APPROACH, MEETING ESSENTIAL NEEDS AND IMPACTING YOUTH THROUGH THREE CORE AREAS: ACADEMIC SUCCESS; CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP; AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES. THE IMPACT OF THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB CAN BE SEEN IN THE DIVERSE PROGRAMS OFFERED: 1,115 DENTAL PROCEDURES WERE PERFORMED ON YOUTH; OVER 100,000 HEALTHY, LOCALLY SOURCED MEALS WERE SERVED; AND 137 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN POWER HOUR, RECEIVING HOMEWORK HELP AND TUTORING.
T3: TRAINING TEENS FOR TOMORROW IS A TARGETED TEEN EDUCATION, PREVENTION AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM THROUGH THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB THAT PREPARES HARD-TO-REACH YOUTH WITH 21ST CENTURY SKILL SET THAT SUPPORTS AND ALIGNS ACADEMICS WITH FUTURE CAREER PATHWAYS AND INDUSTRY TRENDS. OVER 130 YOUTHS RECEIVED JOB TRAINING, MENTORING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
