THE ORGANIZATION IS A LOCAL UNION OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BRIDGE, STRUCTURAL, ORNAMENTAL AND REINFORCING IRON WORKERS, AFL-CIO. THE UNION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IT TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERS IN NEGOTIATING AND MONITORING COLLECTIVE BARGAINED AGREEMENTS WITH PARTICIPATING UNION EMPLOYERS. THE UNION ALSO MONITORS WORKING CONDITIONS, INVESTIGATES LABOR-MANAGEMENT DISPUTES AND SEEKS TO ORGANIZE NON-UNION EMPLOYERS.
