SECOND HOUSE COLLABORATIVE WORKS TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE THROUGH DIRECT DEMOCRACY AND GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING CAMPAIGNS ACROSS NEBRASKA. IN 2023, EFFORTS FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING, PAID SICK LEAVE FOR NEBRASKA WORKERS, AND ENSHRINING ABORTION RIGHTS INTO THE NEBRASKA CONSTITUTION. THIS WORK WAS ADVANCED VIA PHONE BANKING, TEXTING, COALITION FACILITATION, SIGNATURE COLLECTION AND QUALITY CONTROL, AND BROADER PUBLIC EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS.
