IT WILL HOUSE TWO STANDARD SETTING BOARDS FORMERLY WITHIN IFAC, NAMELY, INTERNATIONAL ETHICS STANDARDS BOARDS FOR ACCOUNTANTS (IESBA) AND INTERNATIONAL AUDITING AND ASSURANCE STANDARDS BOARD (IAASB). IFEA WILL SUPPORT THE DEFENSE OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STANDARD SETTING PROCESS IN AUDIT AND ETHICS RELATED FIELDS AND ALSO CONDUCT RESEARCH TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT, ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION STANDARDS IN THE FIELD OF AUDIT, ASSURANCE AND ETHICS, AND TO EDUCATE AND INFORM STAKEHOLDERS AND INTERESTED PARTIES REGARDING THE SAME.
